AMERICAN RAPPER “SNOOP DOGG” REVEALS HE CHARGES $250K FOR A GUEST VERSE

 

American rapper “Snoop Dogg” is a workaholic artist who has worked hard to attain his extravagant lifestyle, so it shouldn’t be a surprise getting him on a track is going to cost a pretty penny.

The rapper had on Wednesday (April 20), appeared on the Full Send Podcast where he revealed a guest verse on a song is gonna cost an artist $250,000 for 16 bars, a price that might hike if they want him to pop up in their music video.

“You’ll get about 16 bars,” he said. “And when it’s time to do the video, I need to get another $250,000 up out of you. And you only got an hour so get to filming.”

The legendary has over 1,000 guest appearances to his name, and he’s worked with everyone from Kid Rock and Kendrick Lamar to Mariah Carey and Jason Derulo.

Dogg confirmed this during his interview his next link-up will be with the South Korean boy band BTS. Although he was asked to speak on the collab, he wouldn’t give too much away aside from confirming it was indeed happening.

“It’s official like a referee with a whistle,” he said. “I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

Snoop also broke down his recent purchase of Death Row Records and talked about what he believes happens when we die.
